Any color of petpet will work for the petpet avatars. Also if you are having trouble with petpet avies, make sure you don't have an Angelpuss equipped to another pet. There is a bug with angelpi that can prevent you from getting other petpet avies. The only workaround I know of it to remove the Angelpuss while getting the other avatars.

If you do not get it you'll have to play the whole game through to get back to the first round to try again. At least you'll get a cool tropy for your lookup.

Aug 18, 2003 If you see this note anywhere but on swidler's pet page, it was stolen from him!		Make sure your pets are in the dying/hungry range (your pets hunger level should be colored red on the quickref page). Take all of your neopoints from the bank, your shop till, etc. and offer them on a trade a friend sets up for you (this is so you can have less than 2,000 neopoints or the Soup Fairy won't feed you). They don't have to accept, you just have to offer the nps. Go to the Soup Kitchen. Feed your pets soup. This is a random event while feeding your pets at the Soup Kitchen. It may take several tries. It took two feedings on this account, and two weeks of trying on my gallery account.
